William J Walther
I've been making photographs for a long as I can remember. When I was younger I spent a good deal of time in darkrooms working with 35mm film. Today I shoot digital images with my DSLR cameras, iPhone and drones. A former educator and school administrator, I live in Tucson, Arizona where I enjoy making pictures and teaching others to do the same.
Why Photography
Photography is an avenue to document a moment in time and keep it forever. It gives me a reason to see something I may never have noticed otherwise. Photography is a way to express my ideas, tell stories and create art for others to enjoy.

I offer a wide range of photography and editing classes. Each class is custom designed to help students learn basic knowledge and practical strategies so they are able apply their learning in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them.
